21st Century Skills: Adaptive Qualities Of The World’s Unstoppable Evolution

Project description

This Erasmus+ project is full of many challenges: 21st Century Skills: Adaptive Qualities Of The World’s Unstoppable Evolution.
Our students are developing their 21st century skills of communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking (4 Cs) through activities focused on important global issues: human rights, climate change and substance abuse. The British NCG Lewisham and Southwark College in London won the application as the last chance before Brexit, and in addition to the Öveges Secondary School, a Spanish and a Turkish Secondary School were partners in it. The big challenge was the participation of several school types and many students. One teacher and two student mobility weeks were organized during the project. Ten students and two teachers participated at the Turkish mobility week in April 2022 in Samsun, and the same in October 2022 in Palma de Mallorca, and three Hungarian teachers, Spanish and Turkish students with 2 accompanying teachers traveled to London in March 2023. The topics of the presentations were:

  • Human rights in Turkey,
  • Environmental protection problems of individual countries,
  • Dangers of climate change in Spain,
  • Use of illegal substances in England.

This KA229 project ended on the 13th of November 2023.
